TThe Relationship Between Metacognitive Awareness and Academic Procrastination Behavior: The Moderator Role of Gender and Grade Level

The purpose of this research is to reveal the relationship between university students' metacognitive awareness (MA) and academic procrastination (AP) levels. In addition, moderator effects gender class level (CL) in have been examined. Quantitative method was adopted research. As designs, descriptive associational designs were used. sample consisted 375 undergraduate students studying at Gaziosmanpaşa University. Demographic Information Survey, Metacognitive Awareness Scale, Academic Procrastination Scale used as data collection tools. At end study, it found that a low behavior moderate high cognitive awareness. There moderate, negative, statistically significant variable predicting procrastination. 17.8% variance explained by increases, there decrease behavior. roles are not significant.
